Aceto B.V. is the regional sales office of Aceto Corp for the BeNeLux and Scandinavian markets.
Aceto B.V. was founded in 1981 and has one sole mission, to initiate and establish sales between our customers and entrusted suppliers in the pharmaceutical (human and veterinary), food, feed, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical Industries. Many of our business relationships have entrusted us with their business and patronage for many years.
Aceto B.V. combines a number of virtually indispensable elements, like safety and reliability in a number of industries. An extremely critical eye is kept on the combination of product and service, which goes hand in hand with importance to the demands of constant supply and stable prices. Woud, as a sales- and representation office for foreign manufacturers wishing, to export and establish growth of sales to the Netherlands market.. From the beginning IPC BV -at that time located in Wormerveer- build up a complementing network of foreign Manufacturers, for which IPC worked as sole agent. In 1996 Mr. H.F. Woud, decided to sell his shares to Schweizerhall Holding in Basel and thus IPC became a member of the Schweizerhall Group of companies. In March 2001, Schweizerhall decided to divest all their European Pharma- and Finechem sales offices, including IPC Netherlands, to Aceto Corporation (USA).
In 1981 Aceto B.V. started work on building up an advanced network of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. The launch-pad for this was Aceto B.V.'s substantial experience, product expertise and carefully accumulated business contacts. Not in the least as a result of our business approach: open and transparent.
Outstanding performance in a particular sector sometimes leads to success in other areas. Analysis of the opportunities which other markets might offer has led to specialization, with Aceto focussing on a limited number of customer groups. Generic Pharmaceuticals be it supply of API's or Licensing-out activities of Registration Dossiers, continues to be the core business. Supplemented by Food, Feed, Nutraceuticals and Cosmeceuticals segments. To Aceto B.V. it represents a broad foundation on which the combination of products and expertise is based for mature and R&D projects.
None of our customers likes keeping large stocks: stock-keeping costs money, takes up space and means one more thing to look after. Our approach to stock-keeping is the ideal one for customers. The fact that we service a large number of customers means that we "iron" stock critical, and in many cases a substantial, range of Active Ingredients, always after consultation with our customers.
Research and Development
Nobody knows more about the end-market more than our customers.
A fairly exhaustive profile of companies offering a wide range of service is put together by us - and kept up-to-date. This is why Aceto B.V. is regularly involved at an early stage in the development of new projects and products. We thus form the R&D link between suppliers and customers.
All Active Ingredients required by our customers require a specific price. Aceto B.V.'s philosophy is that a good product consists of the material and the organization around it. Pharma concepts such as IP, R&D, DMF's, Certificate of Suitability, EDQM GMP and FDA have a sifnificant part to play in this. Like HACCP for Food and GMP+ for Feed. In a nutshell, the raw material, know-how and service elements altogether make up the product supplied by Aceto B.V.. Quality is high at Aceto B.V. and this fits in perfectly with the standards used by leading producers of end-products. Our customers and suppliers are all aware of one thing: Aceto B.V. do business, but not at any price.
We have been fortunate to always been able to run in the front group, when it came to introduce DMF's in the mid eighties, till licensing out dossiers starting in the early to mid nineties. We are confident that, we will not break this particular Trend.
Aceto B.V.'s business approach is based on mutual trust. Our relationships with all our manufacturers and customers with which we do business, regardless of whether or not our association goes back a very long period in time, are full of vitality.
