Chairman of the Board
Mr. Sachdev most recently served as CEO of a global specialty chemicals company, Platform Specialty Products Corporation from January 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, Rakesh led Sigma Aldrich Corporation, a leading global life sciences and technology company as its President and CEO from 2010 until 2016, and earlier served as their CFO for two years. From 1999 to 2008, Rakesh held executive positions at Arvin Meritor Inc, a global supplier of automotive systems and components, including President of Asia, SVP of Strategy and VP/GM of several of their global businesses. Previously he acquired 18 years of senior management experience with Cummins Inc., a global engine and power systems manufacturer, in various leadership roles, including CFO of its automotive business and Managing Director in Mexico.
Mr. Sachdev received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1977, his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1981 and his M.B.A from Indiana University in 1986. Mr. Sachdev is currently Chairman of the Board of Regal-Beloit Corporation, and serves as a board member of Edgewell Personal Care Company, Element Solutions Inc, and Avantor Inc. He is also a board member of GenapSys, a next-gen DNA sequencing company, a board member of ILC Dover, a Board of Trustee of Washington University in St. Louis and has in the past served as a board member and Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Sal Guccione is an Executive Advisor to New Mountain Capital, LLC. He is also Executive Chairman of The Emmes Company, LLC, a clinical stage contract research organization advancing pharmaceutical and public health research. Mr Guccione brings more than 30 years of leadership experience, including CEO, CFO and strategic planning/M&A in the specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients industries. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Aceto Corporation until 2017. Prior to that, he was CEO of WIL Research Laboratories. Mr. Guccione was also Executive Vice President, Strategy, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Corporate Development of Cambrex Corporation, a leading active pharmaceutical ingredients company and CDMO. Prior to that, he was Vice President, General Manager of ISP Personal Care Ingredients, a global developer, manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemical ingredients for the personal care industry.
Mr. Guccione holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
From 1999 - 2009, Mr. Gupta was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rohm and Haas. Mr. Gupta held a variety of posts at the company beginning in 1971. He was elected a vice president of the company and was named director for the Pacific Region in 1993. Early in 1996, Mr. Gupta became one of six members of the Chairman's Committee and was given oversight responsibility for the company's Electronic Materials business group. In December 1998, Mr. Gupta was elected to the Board of Directors and named Vice Chairman in January 1999. He became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer on October 1, 1999. Mr. Gupta assumed the additional title of President in early 2005 and held that title until May 2008.
Mr. Gupta holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (1967), a M.S. degree in Operations Research from Cornell University (1969) and a M.B.A. in Finance from Drexel University (1972). Mr. Gupta is a past Chairman of the American Chemistry Council and the Society of Chemical Industry, America Section. He is a member of the board of Dupont and is the Chairman of Avantor Inc and APTIV PLC. He has also served on the boards of HP, IRI, The Vanguard Group and Tyco International, Arconic (Howmet Aerospace), amongst other companies.
Lori Koch is the CFO at DuPont. She joined the DuPont in 2003 and has held finance leadership roles spanning business units, the science and technology organization, and corporate functions. Most recently, she was the head of investor relations and corporate financial planning analysis. Mrs. Koch previously led finance for several multi-billion-dollar business units including Packaging and Industrial Polymers, Performance Polymers, and Performance Materials. Over the last four years she played a principal role in strategy, planning, and shareholder engagement across the DowDuPont transaction and subsequent split into three new independent companies.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Koch served in key finance roles at Comcast Business Communications and Lucent Technologies. She holds an M.S. in Accounting from Babson College and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Pennsylvania State University.
